With the end of summer in sight and the Back to School season on the horizon, I began to reminisce on that special mix of anxiety and excitement that accompanied the first week of my freshman year of college. It was my first year living away from home and I arrived at the dorms armed with two Target bags, a million disposable masks (it was 2021), and a determination to thrive in this entirely new environment.
