Any chance that - The Bold and the Beautiful
Bell Jr. would actually let something that Brooke does fail? Steffy says Brooke as spokeswoman for the lingerie line will not work, Ridge says it will. Since Bell always seems to knock down Steffy I’m sure it will happen again.
But wouldn’t it be funny and interesting if the relaunch was a flop? I think that would open up a lot more story options than the same old Logan’s win writing.
And yea, I do know that bad things have happened to Brooke, but it is much more weighted in her favor.

Cooper July 25, 2024, 11:44pm 2Or if it dredged up some not so flattering things from Brooke’s past? Social media wasn’t a thing the first time around for Brooke’s Bedroom Line. It is now. And it wouldn’t be that hard for a rival lingerie designer to come up with some stuff Brooke has done that hasn’t been exactly positive—like, say, getting pregnant by her daughter’s husband.

I would give anything if this would happen. I’m not sure Bells got in him to let the Logan’s fail. Maybe we’ll get a bone thrown to us. Fingers crossed.

Nym July 26, 2024, 12:14am 4This would be a great story line, especially if the competing designers were Thomas, Zende and Steffy colab.

What a great idea! I didn’t even think about the social media aspect. Now that would make for an interesting story.
Talk of how many marriages she has had, they could even add in Hopes paternity.
If only, but Bell would never allow it to happen.

That would be a new direction for this show. In the past there was some social media stuff when Hope came on the scene. If they used social media to tank Brooke’s bedroom line then Steffy would’ve been right. Brooke was not the right person. Even though it’s been a few years…Brooke being the mistress is still a turn off for people.
I get them saying it could be empowering to women but her scandalous past still gives people the ick.

I would love to see Brooke and Hope’s pasts brought up, Brooke for sleeping with all the men she shouldn’t and the scandal it caused when Hope was discovered to be having an affair with a married man while preaching chastity. Laid bare on social media for all to see and gossip about. Those two have no respect for anyone but themselves. They speak about Steffy, their boss, in a derogatory way and twist Ridge around their little fingers without fear of consequences. Let them fall and let them fall HARD. It’d be delicious to watch!
(Yes, I know it’s highly unlikely because BB loves his Logan coven too much to let them make fools of themselves)

I am rooting for Bridge to succeed with this relaunch. Not because I am a Bridge fan, but because I really like the message of the line. I agree with Ridge on this one.
At least they are really backing up the line’s message with a model that isn’t the typical age of what they usually show in lingerie campaigns. Last time Steffy claimed it was about diversity, all women feeling beautiful, and women’s empowerment yet at her fashion show it was all typical models. No older women, no plus size women, no differently-abled women.
Even if Bridge is a success it’s really not a loss for Steffy, they are lining her pockets with money and keeping a business going that her kids will more than likely take over. It seems weird to me that Steffy would rather be proven right than have a successful business.

I want this line to FAIL. It isn’t about empowering women, but rather Ridge dressing his 60 something year old side hen, in some tatty lingerie so he can get turned on and she give him sex. I mean BOTH Brooke and Steffy said that in dialogue that was Ridge’s intention.
Steffy’s Intimates line, that she modeled for, on the runway, right after having a baby, carried that same message and was a huge hit for its diversity and inclusion. The campaign (not the run way) had models of all different shapes and sizes.
JMW was pregnant at the time and sported a baby bump when she walked down that runway. They integrated her baby bump as a post partum body, into the storyline.
This nonsense with Brooke’s Brothel Boudoir is just that. Complete nonesense. Just something Bridge can use as foreplay to get themselves turned on.

If Steffy’s pockets are lined, it is because of her and not because of Brooke and her mini me.
It has been stated in dialogue more than once, by Eric and Ridge, that the company has been the MOST PROFITABLE under Steffy’s leadership.
It is time Brooke and her mini me get off their lazy Logan behinds and do some work. Start earning those paychecks Steffy has had to sign her name to for years. Paychecks they only get because Brooke slept her way into them.

I doubt we will but I would love it if it did.
This line needs to fail so Forrester can be protected in the future. Let Ridge know he can’t make business decisions with what is in his pants.
The public needs to know the truth about Brooke and Hope. That way the customers can stop buying their clothes and Eric and Ridge will have no choice but to back up Steffy in firing them. Let them know what it is like to be the boss and have no real way to wield your power like Steffy has had to suffer through.

If they want to support the message, then take models of all sizes and ages to Monte Carlo, have them all walk out on stage. This to me would be more of a show of empowerment. Just having Brooke up there is to put the spotlight on her, not the message. And if she is so good at selling then why not let her sell and let others model. Brooke is a beautiful woman, I agree with that but introduce her as the new executive team member. That is empowering.
And no, sadly BB will never go down the line of having his blond brigade fail. One can only dream….isn’t that what Hope (aka Brooke 2) said.

Cooper July 26, 2024, 2:08pm 13The last time I recall Steffy talking about diversity with a line was the American Freedom line when they used transgender models which is certainly diverse.

Cooper July 26, 2024, 2:13pm 14It’s also a bit disingenuous to have Brooke be the spokesmodel in Monte Carlo, if they intend on using a bunch of different models to launch the line. Also, isn’t that kind of difficult to do with lingerie, unless it’s going to be a really expansive lingerie line, as different sizes and shapes and ages of women want different things in their lingerie. That’s why it would make more sense to have an Intimates line for younger women and a Brooke’s Bedroom line for older women and have a variety of sizes available in both lines, with adjustments as necessary (e.g. women with larger breasts are going to want different kinds of bras/support than women with smaller breasts). It’s also just stupid that they keep trying to revive Brooke’s Bedroom every few years. If it’s that popular a line, why doesn’t it seem to have the staying power, oe if it’s so successful, why do they keep shelving it?

Well, I agree with the majority so far, I would love to have this line fail, bring out Brooke’s past - never going to happen, Bell would never allow it. Brooke’s Bedroom will be a huge success and all we will hear is how wonderful Brooke is,

What has Steffy done for this relaunch? If the relaunch is successful it lines Steffy’s pockets with money.

Cooper July 26, 2024, 9:15pm 18You know, when you think about it, what does Ridge see in Brooke beyond sex? Do they share any interests? Clearly she doesn’t think much of any of his children, save the one she gave birth to, and they never talk about stuff they do together that isn’t in the bedroom or on the desk Ridge shares with his daughter. When they put Ridge with Katie, they made a point to show that they shared an interest in literature. The last time we saw Brooke with a book other than Stephanie’s Bible (which I’m still surprised didn’t burst into flames in her hands), it was some tacky romance novel on her nightstand. She isn’t especially artistic, though Ridge paints as well as designs (or did at one time). I’m not saying they have to share all the same interests, but shouldn’t they have something in common other than getting it on in the bedroom? Really, neither of them even seems that interested in RJ anymore (but then, neither does Bell).

I still say that if I were buying lingerie for a 20 something, I would not buy what I saw on a 60+ woman…no matter how skimpy or sexy.,I would always remember that a 60+ woman wore it…

I still say this all about Ridge promoting his Logan. Anyone that age would have some self worth not to want to flaunt themselves around. Now if she tastefully does it that is one thing, but I don’t see that being Brooke’s mojo. Empowerment for women comes from their abilities not their looks alone. What woman wants to be judged by looks alone. Women want to be recognized by their intelligence, their humor, their abilities outside of the bedroom. Ridge is a wimped puppy that needs to stand aside.
