Best-Dressed Stars at the 2023 BET Awards: Photos

It seems like we just waved goodbye to red carpet season, however, slowly but surely, the red carpets are coming back — and this one came back with a bang! In case you’re not tuned in right now, we’re talking about this year’s BET Awards!

Originally founded in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television Network, this prestigious award show is all about honoring showstopping black entertainers for their work in music, film, television, sports, philanthropy, and more.

This year, on June 25, so many of our favorite stars arrived (and arrived in style) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. From the performers like Coco Jones and Ice Spice to this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Busta Rhymes, this red carpet was a who’s who of our fav A-listers.

Now, not only is this an award show to honor the best of the best, but this year’s is extra special because it’s also celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop! So trust us, it’s a can’t-miss event you should tune into. (And keep your eyes peeled for a touching tribute to the late singing legend Tina Turner!)

But back to the fashion real quick: our fashion-loving readers will be pleased because daring doesn’t even begin to describe this red carpet. From colorful suits to head-turning gowns, this carpet really did cater to all styles.
