So I was reading on this site that Bo and Hope are there for 15 episodes only. We are almost half way there and have not seen ONE scene with Bo and Hope. I am starting to feel we will get that one episode at the end where they reunite and then leave the show. They waste so much time. Days fans want to see Bo and Hope together!

When Bo returned years ago to give his character closure and allow Hope to move on Bo and Hope had like two episodes together, They wasted all this time of Bo trying to get back to Hope and spending all his screen time with other characters. They are doing the same thing again. Then on Beyond Salem with all the hype they were together for half an episode.

Why is it so hard to just give us some quality Bo and Hope time? I am really starting to think KA and PR really do not like each other. There had been comments in interviews in particular from KA that her and PR are not friends that they are simply just coworkers. Days spent so much time even when Bo was last on contract keeping the two of them apart. I have been very disappointed in Bo and Hope returns. The good thing though is that Bo and Hope will ride off into the sunset together.

I’ve been commenting along those same lines for the last few months. We just want Bo and Hope together and in a normal storyline. Not Bo up in heaven, not Hope searching for Bo, etc. I didn’t think it was a lot to ask, but apparently, it is. And yes, like you stated, I get the feeling that KA & PR just don’t want to work together anymore. They are coworkers, not friends. With that said, I’m not surprised that the storyline is going the way that it is. I still love Bo & Hope and appreciate all that they’ve done over the years. KA just seems very bored lately and is doing her script with very little enthusiasm. Peter is very convincing with Bo’s inner struggles and where he wants to go from here. Sadly, Hope doesn’t shine unless she’s with Bo. But even this time around, it looks like that won’t happen. Even if they ride off into the sunset, the characters can’t stay gone forever. Shawn is still in Salem as well as Doug and Julie. This is an all around “let down” from TPTB and the actors as well.

As for Bo’s adventure in Greece, he should be w/Hope not Kayla. Hope should have been there with John & Steve when the ladies were found. They should have found Bo there too and then brainwashed Bo ends up kidnapping Hope and off to Greece they go. That would have been much better IMO.

Yes, I also think that incompatibility off set, may be why we are not seeing them together on set…yet.

I was struck by how Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans (Stayla) always prided themselves on how they respected and loved one another as a team. They often state how fortunate they are as opposed to other pairs who don’t get along. It’s anyone’s speculation whether they are referring to Bope or not. One thing’s for certain, if PR and KA didn’t get along during their heyday, you could have fooled me. They were quite the convincing simpatico pair.

If one didn’t know any better, you would think that PR and KA were a real life couple the way they portray Bo and Hope.

I just read an interview that KA gave in 2016. She stated that she knew instantly that she and PR had chemistry & she is certain that she will never have that chemistry again with another actor like she has w/PR. She went on to state that sometimes they didn’t get along but for the most part, they worked well together.

It just seems so obvious now. When Bo and Hope were last on contract the writers did everything to keep them apart. Always had Carly and Billie pop up. Then ever since he returned they have spent 90% of the time in scenes without each other. I used to think it was the writers, but I now think it was the actors. A real shame that they can not even suck it up for 15 episodes.

It does seem strange that the writers tend to keep them apart for so long. I am starting to think it may be the actors too. There has been rumours of that. Why bring them back and not reunite them sooner? We could have Bo trying to win Hope back but he is written as he doesn’t care. Maybe he is brainwashed and we will hopefully get to that story soon. Time is running out.

I don’t know if I believe this rumor. There’s an article/video where the 2 of them are interviewed together the last time they were together on screen saying it was like no time had passed and talking about all these memories, laughing like friends. They could just be great at covering it up I guess. Their body language doesn’t suggest anythings off at all. That would usually be the give away.

KA said many years ago that she and Peter were like brother and sister, sometimes friendly and sometimes not getting along. They don’t seem to have much in common in RL, so it is probably that they work well together and definitely have chemistry when acting but go their separate ways in private. Not that they are unfriendly to each other, just don’t hang together. They are professional, however, and would never refuse to work together. This is the writers’ choice to keep them apart for now.

I still think there’s something missing. My guess is that maybe they just got tired of working together. Even the best of co-workers sometimes need a change and it could be the same with KA & PR. They could still get along but want to do scenes with other people. It’s jmho.

I had accepted I would be disappointed with this story. But I had hoped that the good would out weight the bad. No such luck. If it was only 15 episodes what a waste. Harris’part should have ended with learning Megan location instead we have to sit though episode after episode of harris and Hope. Bope’s kids are even a part of this story. We has Ciara back for two episodes to express concern, and reveal a pregnancy that makes no sense since the character isn’t returning to play the story out. I think Shawn has a scene with Megan and Andrew coming up, but that’s it. And from what I have read Shawn and Ciara don’t even get to reunite with the father they thought died 8 years ago. This story is such a disappointment.
I know early on,in the 1980’s PR and KA really didn’t like each other. And they managed to fool a lot of people with there on screen chemistry . After returning in the 1990’s they were apparently able to put past feelings in the past. I don’t think the lack of scenes until likely the end of this is about anything personally. It’s just typical of RC writing style of dragging things out to the point of either people giving up,and not carrying or being totally frustrated

It can not be a coincidence that the last many years PR was on contract they spent all their energy keeping Bo and Hope apart. I was always puzzled why did the writers (different writers) always spend so much energy keeping them apart? Bo was off with Billie and Carly. Hope was up to other things. Then he leaves and comebacks to have his character killed off. While he was back for maybe a month he had two episodes with Hope. Bo spent more of his time in a cell and with Steve. Then him finding out he had cancer and spending time with doctors and other cast members like Rafe. He then agrees to do Beyond Salem and is with Hope for 20 minutes of one episode. Now he comes back and is spending all his time with Kayla and Hope with Harris. I heard KA on a late night talk show around the time Bo was killed off and she said she considers him a coworker not a friend. OUCH. PR has said nothing by the way. Both are here for 15 episodes so that Bo and Hope have a happy ending. If this was done right considering it is limited time they would spend more time together. In addition, I heard an interview with SN and MBE saying how they are lucky they get along so well unlike some (pairings) that do not get along…hinting hmmmmm I wonder who? Honestly I used to love Bo and Hope back in the day, The clips prove to me that I wasn’t crazy as they were amazing. Now I can not stand to look at them. There is no spark and it seems like they are going through the motions. Bo and Hope…please go sail around the world and never come back. done with Mope.

I don’t think keeping couples apart was exclusive to Bope. Look at jack and Jen over the years. PR and KA may not be BFFs, but they are professional and get the job done. Its like I said, at their most popular in the 1980’s they apparently really didn’t like each other. They weren’t the first soap pairing not to get along, they wont be the last. What matters most is can the actors be professional enough to put real life that aside. Jmo but I think this is more about RC style, like I said he did it with Jack and Jen. I read on another board that apparently PR and KA have hinted that there will be more to the story. Maybe both actors return after Victor dies.

It’s not just soap couples that don’t get along. I heard of movie couples who didn’t like working together too.

Jack and Jennifer were apart only because Jack was not on the show. Name one relationship Jack as had other than Jennifer (besides the Kate one night fling). It was different writers keeping Bo and Hope apart. Can not blame these writers only.
