With Neil gone and now we have Elena & Devon as a future couple I think will eventually become a supercouple if the show like Neil and Dru. They have some big shoes to fill but I do consider Bryton a vet now since he’s been on the show for 15 years.

Don’t see them as a power couple at all. Devon is boring.

You got that right. Devon is not Neil and there is nothing the show can do about that. KSJ was an incredible actor who could pull off just about any pairing. They will not be a power couple. Hillary and Devon got a lot of attention because Hillary was a well developed character with a lot going for her. Elena is a new character with no development and nothing going for her but Devon. She does not even work, despite the fact that she is a doctor. She has no friends and no connections. I am sure the show will try to recreate magic but it will fall flat and basically most fans will ignore them. I feel bad for Brytni but it is what it is.

You never hear anything about Tucker anymore and he is still alive. Did I not hear that Steve Nichols is off Days of Our Lives again? It is funny that both Devon’s mother and natural father are alive and neither one even called Devon but maybe they don’t know. Harmony is still alive, isn’t she?

I’m really starting to enjoy Devon now he is free of Hillary…However, I don’t see any chemistry with Elena. The actress who plays his sister, imo, should have been Devon’s love interest.

I don’t care for Devon but I DO agree that the actress playing Ana would have been a much better love interest for him than Elena. They seem to have lots of chemistry and not in a brother-sister sort of way.

I still think that Roxie should return to GC and reconnect with Devon! That would be a beautiful story, especially if she comes back with his secret love child… I also agree that the actor that plays Ana has chemistry with Devon, not as his sister but as a love interest!

Ana has more chemistry with Devon than Elena does not bashing the actress but when I did see her on GH I saw no chemistry to her and Dante with her and anyone except Kristina
so maybe Elena could be drawn to Tessa

I don’t see him being a believable partner in any pairing. I think for that to happen they’ll need to recast the character.

Devon as he is now is a sexless character. I have yet to see him have any kind of believable chemistry with anyone that he’s been paired with.

For the most part the actor is doing a good job but he doesn’t seem to have the ability to bring any kind of believable passion and sexual intensity into the character.

I agree. Devon comes off so flat… I’ve always thought it was probably the one-dimensional way in which he was written and the lines given, rather than the actor, but in all honesty, I’m not sure. There is a clear void with the loss of Neil Winter (Kristoff), but I’m not sure I see the Devon character filling that void.
