He’s always been blah. I’m not sure why he’s on the show. And Abby turned from being a fun ‘Naked Heiress’ to more than blah. I’m not sure what kind of chemistry they were expected from putting those two together.

IMO the only time Devon is interesting is when he shares the screen with Tucker. I’ve said it before and I will say it again, when Tucker and Devon share the screen it is must see tv. Bryton James should thank William Russ.

The way he talked to Tucker on the phone today was ridiculous. Tucker is no saint, but he really hasn’t done anything to merit the way Devon is treating him right now.

I like Tucker but if I was Devon I believe I would feel the same way. The way he talked to Tucker today was pretty much the same way Ashley talked to him when she found out about his connection with Audra.

So? They constantly cover tattoos for the characters.They do it on daytime, nighttime, movies, everywhere.

Maybe the actor wants -Devon the character- to have those all those awful tattoos. It’s a choice. I can’t even stand to look at him without a shirt.

So much for the lead AA actor being a hunk. I miss the days of Neil and Malcolm, those men were built like gods.

I really wish they would write the character out or recast the part.

This version of Devon as a business mogul is completely unrealistic. Add to that fact that I have never seen this character have any chemistry with anyone they’ve ever matched him up with, and I don’t think there ever will be until the part is recast. This actor is far too reserved when it comes to romantic scenes.

He was excellent and very believable as a street kid at the beginning and even for a few years after that, but when they made him Katherine’s grandson and he inherited over 2 billion dollars, that’s when they should have recast the part.

He’s a nice looking guy and his acting is decent enough. However, sometimes the actor outgrows the character and sometimes the character outgrows the actor. In this case it’s the latter.

Like I said, he was great as a troubled teen and even when he was deaf and Tucker was on the scene, but since then I’m just not buying this actor in the role.

Bryton James is handsome but no he’s not a hunk. Kristoff St John was handsome but I considered him a distinguished man rather than a hunk. I guess Shemar Moore is closer to what women call a hunk. Personally I find it insulting. I don’t understand why the AA lead actor has to be a “hunk”. I don’t like tatoos but many women find them sexy.

I feel the same way. To me the human body is a remarkable temple. Why deface your temple with a lot of markings and holes? Oh well I guess everybody feels differently.

Same here. Especially when they cover the whole body. But to each his own… It’s an individual choice. As long as it doesn’t affect me.

They have NO script with content for Blacks on this show. What is shown is that color exist in their world.

Because we need hunk actors since it’s a soap, there is nothing insulting about it, they all shouldn’t be white. Nick, Adam, and Chance are hunks. Jack & Paul when they were younger. Brad was a hunk.

Neil grew into being distinguished, but he was quite the hunk on Y&R when he was younger. They used to have him shirtless on the basketball court all the time.

They have no script content for any actor on the show anymore.

The writing is awful for all of them, except for Tucker maybe. Josh Griffith seems to put some effort him with him, probably because he’s an old friend.

I agree the teen, the young Devon who was deaf…great character

Now I want to see this character on recurring after he gets knocked off his high horse. Would love to see him lose Dominic, lose his lawsuit and lose his money

61st Birthday.

It’s a sad one. My brother, my only sibling, died on February 11th. This is the first birthday that he won’t be here to celebrate with me. I have Mobility problems and I can’t climb stairs so it’s been the tradition that he and his wife would come to my apartment and I would cook dinner and we would play games and have lots of laughs.
