He definitely has PTSD. He’s angry, even Carly told him how different he is and it’s showing in a lot of ways. Even the way he’s practically demanding his daughter go to that new school he picked out and didn’t even talk to Sam about it. It’s just so cold-hearted like he’s delivering orders. His cold angry demeanor is starting to show itself. I hope that he finds out soon it wasn’t Ned because I don’t want it portrayed that he goes to attack Ned out of his anger because it’s building up. I don’t think Sonny will want Carly and Drew to know immediately because of Carly’s mother but somehow Drew needs to know it wasn’t Ned because again I think he’s going to try to hurt him.

Wow, Drew is different. Such a change from nice, boring Drew. He’s a little scary now. Not sure if I like him this way either. Interested on where this SL is going though.

So, here’s the thing that bothers me … Drew was in the military on dangerous missions, kidnapped, mind-controlled and through all that his personality was always fine. But he goes to jail for a couple months, and yes got attacked, but that seems minor to me compared to what he’s been through in his life. Yet this is the thing that turns him into a dark mean guy with PTSD? Nope, not buying this storyline at all!

Not to drudge up old storylines, but are we sure this is the real Drew? You know how GH always pulls a fast one? I thought that CM was leaving GH?

At least that would be a new way to go. I still am afraid they are going to go the usual soap route and have him develop a brain tumor.

I did think of that but I’m thinking that maybe this time he wasn’t the one who came out on top, he was the one that was beaten and dragged down. Probably before nobody could kick his butt know what I mean? This time he was ambushed and outnumbered.

He was very familiar with Carly he didn’t act like a stranger to her, maybe it’s still him but I just hope GH isn’t going the mind control route again.

I was not at all surprised in this change of temperament.
TPTB placed alot of faith in the pairing of Carly and Drew, what with the Good Morning America roll out interview and the romantic location shoot.
However despite the fanfare, the viewers didn’t take to this couple, repeatedly citing Drew’s milquetoast persona.
Bingo! Enter stage right, a new more edgy Drew.
I don’t know what the new end game will be, but I figured something was coming to shake-up mellow Drew.

I agree with the statement you wrote he is more angry just down right mean person. I think Cyrus is going to be the one to tell Drew. He is going hurt Ned if nobody do not tell him Ned did not do that.

CM said he’s not going anywhere, he did sign a contract to do movies for GAC, but that wouldn’t stop him from doing GH too; it just sucks for the fans because he gets written off every once in a while and that messes with storylines.

I’m just glad that Carly addressed it and Sam needs to tread carefully when she talks to him about Scout. The “nice guy CM” Drew wasn’t anything like what my sweet Billy Miller portrayed. BM’s Drew brought a different and interesting layer to the character. I loved his relationship with Oscar, OG Curtis and Franco. I miss him sooooo much!

I never bought into the idea of CM being Drew. I don’t even think a darker version of the character will make him any more interesting.

Maybe Drew has a traumatic brain injury from the beating. That can change a personality.

Did anyone ever find the Tarot card that Victor was holding when the mansion blew up ?
I missed alot of the ending of the Victor storyline. Maybe the card surfaced somewhere & someone is turning Drew ‘on and off’ remotely? Hey, it’s a soap opera … anything’s possible.

I would think Drew going dark would make Carly like Drew more since it would remind her of Jason.

He’s a former Navy SEAL that saw frontline action. He went up against Victor and Iceland. He had been kidnapped previously and brainwashed by Victor.

Yet he has PSD from being in prison?

My ex was a sergeant first class in the Army during the Gulf war. He told me some hair raising stories, including orders to not stop for anything or anyone because of the high risk of suicide bombers. Their convoy literally rolled over a family that were in the middle of the road and wouldn’t move. Or looking someone in the eye and deciding it’s either kill or be killed.

It’s stuff like that that gives you PTSD, not spending two or three weeks in a prison.

Drew put a target on his own back by agreeing to try to find information on who Austin visited. His need to be a hero is what got him beaten up.

Nina and Sonny’s marriage would seemingly be fractured after the SEC reveal.
Carly and Drew may be fractured if his behavior becomes violent and/or too unsettling.
This could possibly open the door to the emergence of a CarSon redux.

God I hope not, I never want Carly to take Sonny back after the way he treated her. She needs a new love interest, not Drew, not Sonny and not Jax.
