General Hospital's Scott Will Marry Tracy For Lucy
Talk about the perfect pair: General Hospital‘s Lucy loves to scheme, and Scott loves money. So when she — fresh off a downright brutal fight with Tracy — suggested to Scott that they join forces, we were all in. What longtime fan of the soap wouldn’t be, watching three beloved vets being given such incredibly strong material?
“I have a way that both of us can end up on top,” Lucy insisted, fire shooting from her eyes. Scotty’s devilish response? “Well, that sounds physically impossible, but I’m willing to give it a shot!”

Lucy’s plan was as simple as it was old-school: Scott, she said, would marry Tracy… and then they would take the Quartermaine heiress for all she’s worth! If you’re like us, you smacked your head and wondered how you didn’t see this coming. After all, it was only a week or so ago that the writers threw in a scene between Tracy and Scotty, reminding us of their long ago romp.
SCOTT: I can’t believe you’d forget the look on Lee and Gail’s face when they came in, caught us going at it on top of my desk. That look was priceless!
TRACY: The only thing I remember was them asking me why I was slumming with you.

Suddenly, we were reminded just how much fun Scotty and Tracy were. They — like portrayers Kin Shriner and Jane Elliot — brought out the best in each other. As an added bonus? But the person who should perhaps pay real attention to that clip is Lucy. Because in doing so, she might realize exactly what’s wrong with her grand scheme to bring down Tracy: Scott is the worst weapon possible! It’s easy to see a scenario in which Tracy and Scott have a Taming of the Shrew type relationship ending in them falling in love while trying to outmaneuver one another.

Which would, of course, leave Lucy out in the cold when Scott realizes, “Wait, I can have Tracy, who I kinda not-so-secretly dig, and her money, which I not-so-secretly love. Why am I working with Lucy again?”
