yes I watched it, haven’t seen the show in quite awhile. I wonder if the older women will be as catty as the young ones are.

me too. I watched the previews and it seems something must go wrong cause he wants to quit. I’m sure he finds someone in the end of it. I’ll give the show a chance. Jimmy Kimmels aunt was hilarious.

I haven’t watched in forever, but the idea of a 71 year old bachelor was intriguing to me. I too will give it a shot and see how it goes.

I was just going through the cast photos and the one lady sure was going for the Kris Jenner look. Susan is her name, the pixie haircut and makeup is very KJ.

Faith is the one who got the first impression rose, she’s from Benton City, WA. Clear across the state from me…close to the Tri Cities in South Eastern WA state.

Hi! I watched, thought it was good, and my thoughts: Kimmel’s aunt was hilarious, Theresa revealing her birthday suit was surprising, the gal emerging from the limo pretending to use a walker was really funny, Nancy is the pretty one, and… April is trouble with a capital “T”, lol. Did not care for the Celion Dion lookalike but she was eliminated anyway. Susan is trying too hard (what do you say, @Lila?), and I think our guy has a fondness for brunettes, lol. Well!

I recognize all of your names so you are either YR and/or BB people with whom I’ve posted in the past.

I haven’t watched any of the other bachelor series, but I was intrigued by this one because of the age group. I really enjoyed the show, it was a nice diversion from life’s problems and worries. Gerry seems like a genuinely nice guy. Some of those women were shockingly aggressive! like the chicken lady and the Kris Jenner look-a-like.

I think the chicken lady is April, whom I’ve already pinpointed as a trouble-maker, lol. She’s pretty, but weird, lol. I was surprised the Kris Jenner look-alike was not eliminated! As you say, she is very aggressive. She would definitely scare me off if I was the Bachelor!

I plan to watch. I read online that Gerry was a bit put-off by the lady (can’t remember her name) who got out of the limo and chanted or repeated the F word. His comment was something like he was hoping she would pick a different word. He still gave her a rose though.

Yes, I was surprised and he gave her (Sandra) a rose tonight too in night #2 to continue. I thought he had a lot of fun and laughs with Natasha but he didn’t give her a rose. I would have picked Natasha to stay over Sandra

I was just thinking the same thing. I love this guy and he’s not trying to act like he’s 30 years old. And he also isn’t ignoring the love he had with his wife. How fun was the Diner and dancing!!!

That was funny how stressed he was, driving CA freeways. Everyone was honking at him, lol. It was a rocky start to the date but it ended well. Also poor Theresa. Gets her hair done up all pretty – and by a helpful contestant – but then it gets blown to smithereens in the convertible!

its nice to watch him having some fun. He comes off as really sincere as well. I was thinking how hard it would be to start dating again, I am enjoying this Bachelor oh and I loved the diner but I was also freaked out when they were driving.
