I think Gio is being brought along nicely - General Hospital

I know they brought him on for Trina so that is “end game” but I think so far GH is doing a nice job not shoving him down our throats. He pops in from time to time he is cute w/Joss and I was glad that GH had him open up to Trina about his mom dying.

Those scenes were the most genuine and compelling to me. It wasn’t gabbing about being an artist etc. it was an honest conversation about “loss”.

This is shades of how GH introduced Cody they let him grown on us there is no need to rush this thing w/Trina. Let them organically grow closer. And it was so nice to see Trina smile again.

I’m glad that conversation happened with Trina and not Joss. The actress that plays Joss lost her mother last year. Doing a scene where somebody’s talking about the death of her mother would have been difficult for her.

He seems to just joke with Joss but seems more serious when him and Trina are alone.

He seems to be getting more comfortable in the role. It seemed kind of forced when he first started. I would love to hear him play more, it’s beautiful. I’m not feeling much chemistry with him and Trina, though. He’s a cutie. Wouldn’t it be nice if Emma came back and they became a couple? I think they would be adorable together.

I will be really really glad though when he finds out who Sonny really is, he’s living in his own Rose Colored world as far as Sonny. It’s amazing that he’s clueless, Port Charles isn’t contained in it’s own little capsule, news gets out and the rest of the family knows so I’m surprised he hasn’t overheard anything in all his years.

Oh yeah I am waiting for that. I thought Joss & Trina were both very kind when they “dummied up” when he asked at them why his “uncle sonny” wasn’t at the Q’s party. I was like OMG you do NOT want the answer to that question…lol

I read an article that said he invited Tabyana out for coffee before they had any scenes together. They ended up spending hours together getting to know each other and that made it that much smoother when they began working together.

How does Gio not know about Ava murdering Connie if according to Brook Lynn yesterday that all the the Cerullos and Falconeris know about it?

He was probably very, very young when it happened. That is not something that you would tell to a child. And it happened so long ago that it is not likely they are discussing it on a daily basis.

Yeah that is true but it is also possible that he does secretly know about it because he seemed very concerned when Trina told him that she encountered the dark side of Ava for the first time.

Either way, it’s likely that he’ll find out soon enough. I’m sure that’s something that will be brought up in the custody case.

We will see. I am surprised that someone to did not warn him about performing at Ava’s gallery.

I’m not sure that Trina knows that Ava killed Connie. She knows about Morgan, but she seems to overlook that. And I think it was Trina that suggested he work there.

I am blaming people like Lois, Olivia and Brook Lynn for not warning Gio.

I get that. But, he is an adult. They can’t really tell him he can’t work there. And I suspect he wants to be in Trina’s orbit.
Ava has been acting nuts. But it’s not like she’s gonna try to kill him.

He has potential, but his character needs more depth. All he ever talks about is his big family back in Brooklyn. yawn

He couldn’t handle that type of truth at this time. Joss and Trina need to ease Gio into it.
