Anon is right though that they are trying to make him a hero, but anybody with reasoning skills knows he is not.
I guess my problem with Sonny being a hero is that it is him, a mob boss, being a hero multiple times while
PCPD and now ATF making many mistakes allowing him to be hero. I am a HUGE fan of the police, fire, and
all emergency transponders, so when the soaps show them being inept and a mob boss being the hero, it
just bothers me.
I’m having a hard time grasping how this is Sonny’s fault.

They always set Sonny up to be the hero. I, for one, am so sick of it. If it wasn’t for the others on the show I’d stop watching. It was Sonny’s fault all along. He knew about this arms deal and did nothing until he could make the big hero move. Always has to be the center of attention. Carly sees it. Sonny could have told Dante this whole thing before it escalated. But no, we have to have Sonny be the hero. Michael was going to save the people on the boat but then Sonny has to run by and grab the bomb and jump in the water. ANYONE would have done it. If Nathan was faking being in a wheelchair he would have jumped Dixon. Please. I’m so sick of arrogant, beligerant, barware throwing Sonny. I guess that’s what makes the world go 'round. Kristina wouldn’t have been in danger if Sonny wasn’t a mob boss. None of his kids would be in danger. Dixon was in town to move guns, Sonny doesn’t deal in guns…Dixon would have never known Sonny had a kid at the wedding if not for Alexis. Dixon went to The Church in search of Ava. He had no idea Sonny would be there.
Julian was a wimp, hiding behind Alexis. Sam was braver then him.

I’m glad you brought the chatter in cyber space. Quite the opposite of the chatter about Franco’s actions at the church. 
The saving grace is that we didn’t have to endure Sonny’s antics for more then a couple of minutes.
