Is Cameron Mathison leaving GH? - General Hospital
Is Drew on his way out? The actor who portrays him has already booked a Christmas movie. Will he leave Port Charles when elected, and maybe return for guest one day stints?

I have no idea but currently he is hosting a game show called “Beat the Bridge”. It’s on the GameShow network weekdays at 6:00 pm
It’s on already? I thought it was scheduled to be on in oOctober, I need to look for it then. Thanks.

I hope he is on his way out! CM never fit the role of Drew. They changed the character so much for CM and in my opinion it failed miserably. They should have brought CM on as a brand new character. But as it is now, and with him jumping through women that are all family, it’s just gross. I’ll be happy if Drew leaves town.

I like Cameron Mathison but if Drew’s character is being phased out or moved away somewhere it would be in Washington DC. I think it would be really fun and even though she’s busy with her Hallmark show we could hear that Drew gets married to someone and the person is played by Allison Sweeney! Now that would be just so cool, she could make one appearance as his new wife he met in Washington DC of course. I like them together as a movie/tv couple.

He did an interview quite recently where he said that he is going to be doing both General Hospital and the game show because he is taped a number of game show episodes ahead of time.
He has left Hallmark and signed a contract with Great American Family Channel. Apparently their movies are more wholesome and religious based then Hallmark movies. Hallmark movies are pretty tame. I think they kiss once at the end of a movie.
How Great American Family is going to be more wholesome and religious than that is beyond me.

I sincerely hope he is leaving or getting recasted as a different character. His version of Drew just doesn’t compare to the version portrayed by Billy Miller. The writers are only interested in how many time they can show Camerons chest no in writering an interesting story for him.
It’s kind of sad the writers must not think Cameron is capable of portraying the multi layered character of Drew that Billy created.

From what I’ve seen of previews for the movies that will air on GAFC, there’s more religious mentions and definitely no sex. Candace Cameron Burre is a big spokesperson. She has talked about making movies about faith, family and love.
Personally, I’ll take murder, mayhem and mystery.

Alison Sweeney’s Murder She Baked was renewed! I’m glad too. I’m surprised he’s not going to go back to Hallmark but that’s his choice I guess it’s a shame because there was nothing wrong or immoral about anything on Murder She Baked. Anyway she’ll have a new guy on her show because her former love which was Cameron Mathison is supposed to be away at the FBI academy.

The Murder She Baked series is now the Hannah Swenson Mysteries. Victor Webster has replaced Cameron Mathison. They’ve aired one movie with him so far. I’ve watched all Murder She Baked movies numerous times.
I want them to bring the “Chronicle Mysteries” series with Allison Sweeney and Benjamin Ayres back.

I loved the Hannah Swenson Mysteries series on Hallmark when CM was on with Allison. Unfortunately, he left Hallmark so they got a new guy for her in the latest one I saw.

He’s currently portraying a guy sleeping with a woman & itching to sleep with her daughter as well…I can’t imagine why Murder She Baked would be a problem.

Ditto!
Currently Murder She Wrote and Columbo are in reruns on one of my cable channels. I’ve been recording them. Absolutely loving them! I’ve also been recording reruns of CSI New York. The last episode of that series airs tomorrow.

I did not like the Chronicle Mysteries. I thought it was boring and dry. The narration drove me crazy.
I really loved Garage Sale Mysteries. But Lori Loughlin was fired from Hallmark. So doubtful will ever see any more of those movies.
And now that Candace Cameron-Burr has moved over to Great American Family, we’re likely to never see another Aurora Teagarden mystery.

I wish they would bring the Garage Sale Mysteries back. Lori Laughlin paid for what she did it’s over and done with. I don’t think that many people really care anymore. I bet there’s so much that goes on with actors that we don’t know about that is worse. I think she deserves a chance to come back and be an actress again. Even if they don’t remake that it’s time she’s back on the circuit. Lots of other actors have done things and have been forgiven by the public.
