I think the writers should use a different storyline than Kelly’s to rebuild the Empire of Carly. Maybe for once she could get a job or education and do it on her own without the help of family gifts or ex-husbands money.

I’d rather see Nina lose her father’s money and see if she can survive without living off her inheritance.
Or having someone else get a business going like Maxie did for Crimson or buying a hotel that Carly and Olivia made successful.
What can Nina do on her own ?

I love that there is a storyline for Kelly’s but I was really hoping Carly would go back to school to become a nurse or some other type of hospital job.

It was nice having Epiphany go to medical school at her age & sadly we never got to see her as a doctor.

Yes. I was so hoping that Carly would follow in her mother’s Bobbie’s footsteps and get into the medical profession, further restoring the tone and feel of the show’s namesake General Hospital. Many storyline possibilities

I don’t really feel like its an exciting storyline but I can understand with the character of Bobbie not coming back they needed to hand it down to someone else.

I personally think a much better story for Carly rather than her being all up in her ex’s businesses and the constant fighting with Nina would be she decides to create her own business. Whatever that is. She has to figure out on her own how to start it, get pattons if its something she makes, and then goes to banks for loans. I think watching someone fall and work their way to the top without help is much more intriguing than someone falls and here is the family business. I would prefer seeing the drama of having to rebuild from scratch.

Carly has a 5 Million dollar fine to pay. She doesn’t really have the time to go back to school to become a nurse. She needs income now. The opportunity presented itself and she took advantage of it. I say good for her.

I agree Nina or Saint Nina of Port Charles has never had to work like Carly, Bobbie RIP,Elizabeth, Portia etc etc. Nina needs to have her commuppance I hope its at Carlys hands.

Kelly’s seems too small of an establishment for Carly to sink her teeth into. She was great at managing the Metro but of course psycho Nina owns it now. I suppose she could enlarge Kelly’s and make it into a nightclub but hold onto those BLTS !! Any suggestions ?

It has it’s own charm - perhaps a bed and breakfast.

I didn’t say it’s not good for her, I just would’ve liked to see her go back to school. Hardly anyone Carly’s age actually “has time” to go back to school…they just figure it out & do it anyway. I just think it would be nice if she did something completely on her own.

I do like Kelly’s being the focus, so I love that it was given to her. She can work & go to school.
