She pleaded no contest.

She got: 3 years probation, ordered to attend 12 AA meetings to begin immediately, pay $390 fine, license suspended for six months.

That girl was lucky. I hope she’s learned her lesson.

She is a very lucky young girl, and so were the people driving on the road with her that day. If she doesn’t learn her lesson, I hope they do lock her up. I do hope she takes better care of herself though.

That’s what a first offense would cost you here too. So let’s just hope she learned her lesson.

I know that in NoCal, it’s a minimum $150 fine. A coworker was dumb enough to do it once and got popped. (Which was NOTHING compared to the amount of hell she got from everyone who knew her for doing it. When you live in an area prone to fire, people don’t look kindly on “butt-throwers”. ) Anyway, I’m betting it’s more in SoCal, espeically in light (no pun intended) of recent events.

I do think she has a responsabilty to her young fans to make a atatement about drunk driving and a public aplogy… until she owns up to what she did I have lost alot of respect for her, and as you all can see by avitior i have been a Storms fan since her Belle Days.

i hope so too, but AA wont work alone, for it to work, i think she needs to go for therapist, not a drug and alcohol counselor. all they do is yell’’ when was your last drink’‘, when’’ did’’ you’’ last’’ use’’ before knowing the under lining issues. i think she needs a therapist to help her with what is under lying all this.
it has all to do with her childhood witch i read on another post when she got arrested that she comes from a dysfunctional family and the drinking stems back to that.
i hope she gets the help she needs and is able to move on from it and learn from this experience.
