Lets debate Ava did not kill Morgan - General Hospital

I’m tired of her being accused of this. Josslyn (who I find very annoying worse teen out of the three) doesn’t know anything. The bomb kill Morgan. Lots of being in the world don’t take their meds and don’t die from it . Sonny has not taken his medication before and didn’t do what Morgan did or even close. Being bipolar doesn’t make you want to steal a random car for no reason.
THE BOMB KILL MORGAN NOT AVA OR NOT TAKEN HIS MEDICATION.

Ava used her visitations with Avery to change a young man’s medication. Carly and Sonny were kind enough to give her access to their home and this is what she did .
Ava was jealous that Morgan chose Kiki .
On medication, Morgan had no feelings for Ava .
Her actions killed him - everything Joss said was true - she’s 100% responsible for Morgan’s death -
She’s a murderer of a kid she claimed to love -

Yes and no! Is Ava solely responsible for Morgan’s death no! Did she contribute to his actions that led to him basically being in the wrong place at the wrong time absolutely! She intentionally replaced his medication with a placebo! This is a very dangerous and very irresponsible thing to do especially to a person newly diagnosed with bipolar! You just don’t do this to a mentally ill person especially when they’re trying to get well and rediscover who and what they are now while on medication! And she did this why? Why because she was jealous of his relationship with her daughter! They were 20yrs younger than her she was old enough and experienced enough to know right from wrong!
I actually hold Ava, Julian and Olivia Jerome solely responsible! Olivia for setting the bomb in the first place, Julian for putting circumstances in motion that caused his sister to feel that she needed to retaliate by trying to kill her brother, and Ava for being both obsessive, jealous and needy to the point that she didn’t want Morgan with Kiki an adult in her own right who had the right to make her own choices as to whom she wanted to date! Lastly Sonny who also had his own part in elevating the animosity between the 3 Jerome siblings and ordered his very own hit that evening and if circumstances had been different could have been the one solely responsible for his son’s death!
The only innocent in the death of Morgan Corinthos Is Morgan Corinthos!

She is responsible for Morgan’s death as if she pulled the trigger. He would never have been in that car or that situation if she had not maliciously with intent tamper with his Medication. She wasn’t switching Aspirin for Tylenol what she did put Morgan in a manic psychotic state. I don’t give a crap what “others” have done that’s deemed somehow worse. She is responsible for his AND KiKi’s deaths.

Exactly !
If it was withholding insulin or a cancer medication that lead to a death , it would be the same thing .

lala2 January 19, 2021, 1:12am 7I want to preface my statement by saying I’m really enjoying Nava. Their chemistry is off-the-charts, IMO, and I enjoyed the recent scene w/Ava getting her daughter back from Carly. That Carly thought she could keep Avery is beyond belief to me.
That said, Ava is, IMO, 100% responsible for Morgan’s death. She switched his vital mental health medication. Why? Because her daughter was “pity-dating” him at the time. Instead of talking to her daughter about not doing that and just breaking things off w/Morgan, she decided to sabotage him. Someone she claimed to once love. What she did is awful, and I will never be upset w/CarSon or Josslyn or anyone taking her to task for it.
Because Morgan was unmedicated, he made a bad choice and got blown up. If he had been properly medicated, he wouldn’t have stolen a car, and he wouldn’t have been blown up. That cannot be denied. The lack of medication directly led to his death.

You can say that Ava did not intend Morgan to die through his actions, but it is inescapably clear that Ava’s messing with Morgan’s meds led to a series of events that led to Morgan’s death, so yes, I will come down on the side of Ava being responsible for Morgan’s death. Think about that for a minute, that Ava took advantage of this kid’s mental illness, messed with the kid’s medications, all because Morgan and Kiki were getting closer, and Mother of the year Ava could tolerate that situation no longer, so she took proactive action and messed with Morgan’s medication. Sometimes when I reflect on the blood Ava has on her hands with Connie and Morgan, I marvel at the fact that Sonny had not wacked her and that she still walks the streets of Port Charles.

What Ava did is absolutely vile and reprehensible. You DON’T MESS with somebody’s recovery like that. Stories like these truly get under my skin. Just like when Carly dumped AJ in the laundry bin - and poured alcohol all over him - to think he was drinking again. Messing with an addicts sobriety and recovery when they are TRYING to HEAL themselves - is absolutely classless. I think the writers truly cross the line when writing stories like this.
Morgan never asked to be bipolar. He was a young man - trying to deal with a debilitating disease that was completely beyond his control. He struggled with it with it for so long - and in the end - he truly though he was doing better. Then he was so lost - on what he was doing wrong - and why he wasn’t getting better.
It really made me SICK to watch his confusion, his frustration, sadness, and his pain. He did NOT deserve what Ava did to him. Her selfishness and greedy - literally DESTROYED his LIFE. Her switching out his meds lead him down the path - in which he chose to steal a car - that had a bomb in it.
Joss expressed her feelings in a very mature and honest way - and Ava will ALWAYS deserve to hear it.

I agree! Could you imagine how broken and devastated that he must have felt? How confused he must have been? The shame he must have felt! He must have been in utter despair believing that he had done something wrong or caused the situation he was in? If he hadn’t been killed by a car bomb I have no doubt he might have attempted suicide again and he would have succeeded because he saw no way out and because nobody would have believed he was actually telling the truth because they would have presumed that he was sabotaging himself!

snakeye January 19, 2021, 3:40am 11EXACTLY I agree, Ava is more responsible than anyone for his death, AND Kiki’s.
. Morgan would not have done what he did if he had been taking his meds…which he thought that he WAS. And Ryan would not have killed Kiki if Ava hadn’t made Ryan think she wanted Kiki gone. (And I like Ava now, but truth is truth.)

I LOVED Joss and her disdain for Ava. Standing O for her she was spot on had her pegged and Ava knew it. As for her swooping in and throwing her new found weight around I found it self serving, vindictive and cruel not just for Carly but for Avery and Joss. She’s a despicable vile human being. An impeccably dressed one but despicable non the less!

Exactly, truth is truth …,
Glo4u January 19, 2021, 9:31pm 14Actually this sounds more like the excuses Julian gave for the bomb going off in the Floating Rib, lets face it, he couldn’t trust Cyrus to be honest. Ava could not have possibly known what witholding Morgan’s meds would have done to him. I am not an excuses person and neither considered the consequences of their actions. They both are responsible for the final result no matter what.

No but she did have a hand since she switch his meds so yes she did
If carly wasnot pushing kiki to be morgans saviour she wouldnot been shot and ava wouldnot of tired to keep him away

This ain’t on Carly. Ava set it all in motion with her vindictive jealousy towards her own daughter. “Trying to protect her” from Morgan my ARSE! She was jealous, angry and completely complacent in Morgan’s death and KiLi’s.

But how can someone not know that removing someone’s medicine ins secret wouldn’t have an effect on that person? They can’t predict exactly the outcome but they have to know it can lead to something serious even possibly life threatening? So Ava had to know she was playing with fire? She just didn’t care and her jealousy, pride and ego won out!

Regardless of whether we think Ave killed Morgan, Ava believes she is guilty. She will never admit it, but she believes she killed him.
