At the cliff house, Finn pleads with Steffy not to walk out that door. He’s sorry for what happened on the beach with Kelly. He isn’t sure why he embraced Sheila, but Steffy knows he would lay his life down for her and the children. “Please, Steffy, don’t! Please don’t leave!”

Finn insists that Liam is trying to destroy their marriage. That’s why he showed her the video. He begs her not to let Liam erode her trust in him. Steffy informs Finn that he did that; he cannot blame Liam. It breaks her heart, but she cannot stay in the house with him. She is leaving with the kids and going to her grandfather’s where they will be safer. “I’m leaving now.”

At Spencer, Liam flashes through his love story with Steffy, exhales, and smiles. After working a bit, he paces, sits on the couch, and recalls recently telling Steffy he loves her.

At Deacon’s place, he and Sheila are covered in sweat in bed. He tells her, “That was insane. Once again you land on all nine of your kinky toes.” Sheila growls, “Oh, you’d better believe it, Daddy.” They resume making out. Deacon tells her he hated seeing her locked up, but he doesn’t mind the pent-up passion. They go over her getting out. Sheila vows she’ll never take anything for granted again. Deacon marvels that only Sheila could best Bill Spencer. Sheila doesn’t want to talk about it. She turns the conversation to her reconnecting with her son. Deacon is skeptical that she can cleanse her sins but concedes he should know better by now than to underestimate her. Sheila gets what she wants… and what she wants right now is him. They kiss.

In the Forrester living room, Steffy thanks the help and tells Hayes and Kelly that they’re going to have a good time there. “You’re going to love it.”

The kids run off to play and Liam arrives. He got her text to come and see her right away and asks if she’s okay. She says, “Uh, yeah.” Liam asks why she’s at Eric’s. Steffy worriedly says something happened today; something he needs to know. She tells him that at the beach today, Kelly got pulled out by the ocean and almost drowned.

Liam asks if Kelly is okay and stammers as he questions what happened. Steffy reassures him. Kelly comes out and Liam picks her up. He gushes about how brave she was and thinks it was lucky Finn was there to save her. Kelly says, “It wasn’t Finn. It was his mommy.” After Kelly’s sent back out of the room, Liam learns Kelly saved his daughter. He’s relieved that she’s okay, but asks, “Why was she there? Or do I even need to ask? Finn!”

At the cliff house, Finn gazes out at the beach miserably. Li arrives and asks if he’s okay. He rushes into her arms crying. Li asks what’s wrong. Finn says, “Steffy left. She’s gone. She walked out on me.” Li is stunned. Finn starts at the beginning and explains everything that happened at the beach with Kelly. Li is relieved to hear that Kelly’s okay, “Then you saved her.” Finn says, “No. Someone else did.” Li is shocked to hear it was Sheila.

Li sizes up her son, “You said Steffy left. Is this why?” Finn confirms it; she was so upset. She was horrified that Sheila was the one to save Kelly. Li muses, “I can imagine.” Finn says he was so grateful that he defended Sheila and told his wife she should cut her some slack. Li looks stunned, “Cut her some slack?!” She asks if he’s suddenly seeing Sheila differently now and rages about her trying to kill, him, Steffy, and her! “I see why Steffy’s so upset with you!” Finn says, “That’s not all.” He admits that at Sheila’s hearing he embraced her. Li hollers, “You embraced that monster? And Steffy knows this?” Finn nods, “Yes.” Li fumes, “No wonder she left you!”

At Deacon’s, after another round of sex, Sheila asks if she’s wearing him out. Deacon scoffs, “Are you kidding me?” He works on her pressure points, and she laughs, before turning serious. She wants to thank him for being the only person she could count on. She’s really hoping she’ll be able to count on her son soon, “My Finn.”

At the Forrester mansion, Liam asks how Finn didn’t see Sheila approach. Steffy reveals that Finn took a work call and turned his back on their daughter. Liam is livid. He has one job — to keep Kelly safe. Steffy says she knows and she confronted him about it. She also confronted him about hugging Sheila. Liam asks what he had to say. Steffy says he didn’t know why he did it. He wasn’t hugging Sheila but the woman who gave birth to him. Liam rants, “And also tried to kill him and tried to kill you and tried to kill his adoptive mother.” Steffy’s had enough; it’s been a really tough day. She sits and tears up. Liam apologizes. “But between you and me, what could have happened today…” Steffy knows, but Kelly and Hayes are safe now. Liam says he’s sorry but he doesn’t think he wants Finn to be alone with Kelly anymore. Steffy cries, “You’re right. That’s why we’re here… We’re living here now.” Liam asks if she left Finn. Steffy says, “Yeah.” Kelly runs in with a drawing and asks her mommy why she’s crying. Steffy tells her that she and daddy are just glad she’s okay. Liam tells his daughter, “I love you so much… and mommy.” They all hold each other.
