I know - we are obviously once again about to hear the danger speech. Aagh, I am just not sure why we have to go through this again. It’s like a time warp right back to the Spring. Elizabeth convinces them to move forward because life is too short, they get engaged/plan to go to Italy, have about 1 minute to revel in it together, then tragedy strikes the Corinthos clan and changes everything. I am just hoping that despite their fears, they will remember just how miserable they were this summer and not repeat that part of the time loop.

Seriously - all anyone needs to do is send in some of the great fanfic pieces already written. Aph’s MAM comes to mind as one of the best! Really, they should just hire Aph, buy her a Hollywood mansion, pay her moving expenses, childcare (if necessary), and whatever else her heart desires. The show’s ratings would go through the roof!!!

Oh yes, Michot is very good too. I can’t think of the author or grab a link right now, but one of the first fanfics I ever read was a trilogy. I can only remember the first two - Not Jake’s Food and Happily Ever After (I think that’s what they were called.) Anyway, the author wrote them years ago starting with vintage Liason, but they could easily be adapted to today. For example, one starts with an all out attack on Corinthos-Morgan org, killing Sonny and Carly and requiring Jason and Liz to go on the run while the org regroups. It was an excellent story. If no one else posts a link, I will try to find it after work or tomorrow - which should be a day off.

There are tons of other great fanfics, some which would more easily adapt to current time lines than others. What are some of your other favorites?

Aside from all of the other WTF moments, I’m having the hardest time with the way they have shown Elizabeth blaming Jason for this even though she knows that the mob war itself is because of Sonny and could easily and has in recent weeks wondered about the Sam/Lucky connection to the drug storyline. I think many viewed Lucky’s accusation of her during the first Jake-napping as the final nail in the coffin. It is now impossible to even thinking about another round of Elizabeth and Lucky after that for many of the posters on this board (including me). I’m struggling with the same issue here for Liason - if you’ve lost that much faith in your partner, how do you survive as a couple - especially one that hasn’t had the chance to really come together in so many ways?

Help - my Liason-loving heart wants to believe that our couple will be together on the other end of this storyline, but I’m struggling with it. How do they get there from here?

I think Liz blaming Jason in just a plot point to drive the wedge between them. Sooner or later it will come out that Jakes kidnapping had nothing to do with Jason…and hopefully the writers are smart enough to build a story line that brings Jason and Liz back together. Keep the faith.

I was thinking about this more as I tried to sleep. I guess there are qualitative differences in the “blame” so far. Elizabeth hasn’t accused Jason of actually hurting Jake himself, which is what Lucky was suggesting Liz did last time. Being upset that Jason’s world or lifestyle has harmed Jake is different and maybe something they can get past.

I have also decided that the way I really want this to play out is that in a couple of weeks we see Sam wake up in the hospital, where she has been dreaming this whole thing up after falling into a coma from the boat explosion.She will see how to return to the adventure loving, good person that she was while with Jason, but still be in love with Lucky. And, because she will have seen how devastated Jason and Elizabeth are when apart and something happens to Jake, she will become their cheerleader (like Liz was when JaSam broke up) and help them see the need to put protection in place. This can be that rumored “never before seen” Guza storyline. It makes sense because so far the characters are behaving consistently with the way Sam views them, as opposed with the way they have acted in all other situations in which she wasn’t present. And, February sweeps can be the “real” playing out of the mob war and power struggle with no new Jake-napping because the Morgan family is prepared thanks to Sam’s warning. Makes all fan bases happy because it heals JaSam as much as possible, tightens the LuSam relationship and gives us Liason.

No spoilers here. Just my Thanksgiving, holiday and overall wish for this show.

As for whether I think Liason will get a story, I absolutely do. It may not be in the next month but they WILL have a story this year.

Trying again - had this nice long post shouting out to everyone and it won’t post. Not sure if it’s my work system or what.

Came in for a mental health break hoping to find new reasons to hope (finding some solace in the fact that nothing I read in the recaps sounds remotely close to any new romantic pairings for Jason or Elizabeth). But desperately wishing for something to signal the drought will end.

And, what did I find - Aph, Zaria and Canadiana back on the board!!! Nice to see everyone (not that I can talk since almost all I have done since NYE is work and occasionally lurk.

Anyway, Aph, fanfiction is the only thing feeding my romantic soul and I could sure use some updates on MAM and Restoration. Any chance those might be forthcoming?

Lily does not believe that Billy and Chloe don’t know each other! I was surprised that she tried to talk to Cane about it, but I am glad she is staying with her gut on this one. I hope she continues to ask questions and maybe since she brought the subject up to Cane he will start noticing too! I really hope that this is a sign of progress with these four!

Lily will have to do all the digging on this by herself and to most def protect herself from Chloe and Billy. Cane is so wrapped up with his resentment against Billy and thinking that it’s all Billy out to get what he has, that he won’t be able to give Lily a hand in this at all. Lily hire Paul if you have to but keep digging girl. And once you find out kick them all in the curb.

I don’t think anything major will happen till the baby is born. You can tell already that Billy is really struggling with the knowledge that it is his daughter. Lily may suspect something now, but it won’t come to light until after the baby is born.

And I still cannot understand why there are people who want to see Lily married to this loser. If she marries Billy, she is destined for heartache–many times over!!!

Glad Lily is finally seeing the light (connection between Chloe and Billy) and hopefully what she has done making Cane be “NOBEL” when it’s not his kid.

Lily has been made to look stupid for months - please writers, please let Lily continue to ask questions and figure out that her fun Billy boy is chloe’s baby daddy and she goes and gets the love of her life Cane back.
