Neil E. Winters Tribute, Spoilers - The Young and the Restless

A well done episode. Lily had me in tears. I thought a really nice tribute to Neil Winters, (Kristoff St. John). Great job Y&R.

I admit I was wrong about the Neil Tribute. I was not expecting what they did with the show. The show was very well done much to my surprise. Kudos to the writers.

I’m only about halfway through the episode but I am enjoying it.

It’s different because it’s not people just sitting around in a living room telling stories.

They’re basically taking us for a walk down the memory lane of Neil’s life and how he touched so many people in so many different ways.

I love seeing scenes from episodes past. I particularly used to enjoy the basketball court scenes between Nick and Neil. Not because they had their shirts off. But because it was such a normal guy thing to do. These days people don’t seem to have friends on the show. And those basketball games were just two friends hanging out and having fun.

It really was a wonderful tribute to Kristoff St John. It proves how well liked he was as an actor and a man. It was well written and I agree with others that the memories that were shown were really good. Bravo Y&R writers for this episode!!

I miss Dru. I loved her friendship with our girl Sharon. Neil and Sharon were pals too. Makes me sad all the way around.

I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. Usually these tributes are boring and somewhat depressing. This was the best one I have seen. Great job!

glad you liked it, I did too, thought it was really well done.

The great thing about old Y&R is that writers penned characters with humanlike characteristics. None of those characters are/were saints. A memorial is the gathering of love ones who share memories. IMO, Y&R succeeded with that objective. I loved the show today.

I wish that CBS and the actress had reached an agreement so we could have had Dru again.
