Would it be a rewrite if they decide to make Sally Phyllis king lost daughter? I would like to see a storyline with them being connected somehow because of their hatred towards each other

I think this is also WAY overdone, but if they went this route I think she should be Avery’s daughter, given up in high school or something, so Phyllis could be her aunt.

I actually would have preferred Faith’s frienemy Jordan turn out to be Lucy, Phyllis’ granddaughter!

I would not buy into this type of s/l. Having a unkown, long lost daughter would really be an UN-Phyllis thing to do. And as other’s posted, been there done that.

If they are going to keep Sally on the show, and I hope they do…then let the two butt heads in the business world or has been suggested a Sally/Nick hookup, which would surely drive Phyllis crazy. You know for decades we’ve had the Jack/Victor business rivalries…so why not two smart, savvy women for a change.

they are very similar, sally is the younger phyllis. not sure I can see her as sallys bio mom. what I could see is a repeat of history, jack/phyllis get together and nick has revenge sex with sally.

A lot of people would definitely consider it a rewrite. What would have to happen is that Phyllis would have hooked up with a carnie named Spectra, given birth to Sally and then given him to the carnie and his wife to raise. I personally can’t see Phyllis doing that. Then Mr. and Mrs. Spectra would have had another daughter named Coco and then left Sally and Coco with Grams (Mr. Spectra’s mother).

I agree, it has been done too many times. Besides Hillary and Theo , we had Mariah being Cassie’s twin and the daughter Sharon never knew she had. Dylan was the son Nikki never mentioned and for years she believed Ian Ward was his father .For some reason it never occurred to her that since she’d slept with Paul he could be the father. Not ever character has to be connected to someone in GC.

Now that Phyllis has lost Summer to Italy I would not mind seeing that. Maybe something when she was extremely young and her father took the baby when she had it and told her the baby died or something. I would not be shocked is Sally and Phyllis end up being mom and daughter or sisters or something they are so alike.

I agree. The rivalry has already begun and both women intend to keep it going so we can expect interesting times ahead.

I do see similarities between the two women but Phyllis is a unique personality and she didn’t suddenly change because Sally showed up.

A significant difference between them is that Sally has no children. She’s younger yes but also unlike Abby or even Maria she’s not yet established in GC she has no family there and it’s all about getting ahead at this point.
She’s the third redhead and if Maria is not related to Phyllis why can’t Sally just be a new person who irritates Phyllis.

Sally is even more like Phyllis than Summer could ever be. That is why Phyllis never liked her it takes on to see on. Both are trouble

Well that would be appropriate Lucy just as nasty and selfish as Phyllis. Daniel taking her away from mommy dearest wouldn’t have worked.

On-screen, Daniel was born in 1993 (per the Wiki article about him). So in actual years he’s 27. Of course, MG is actually 42 - SORASing screws everything up!

when i look up daniel on y&r it shows the actor then it shows aged 39 he couldn’t be 27 based on his age when summer was born
