I’ve noticed that both Victor and Adam always seem to be dressed in black attire? Is this a not so subtle way of saying that these men are dark and brooding.Is this deliberate or just a fashion choice by the actors?

Dark / brooding black like the old cowboy shows black hats/bad guys white hats/good guys

so …then I wonder does that apply to Diane always in black or navy blue

I remember when I used to watch Day’s John Black, Bo Brady, and Patch all wore black. Never saw anything dark or brooding about them.

Victor has been dressing in all black for years and years. I remember writing to the producers way back when he was with Hope about this. So many other characters on this show dress in black, it’s not limited ot Victor and Adam. I really don’t like that look, especially black head to toe, it is so dreary and makes that person seem very cold and unapproachable. I love the more coloroful outfits.

Adam is the black sheep of the family, Victor is known as The Black Knight (Dark Horse), Diane causes chaos.

The dark colours seem to suit them. I can’t imagine Victor in bright plaid pants or even a colourful golf shirt. Just not his style.

Diane always looks as if she is heading off to a funeral. I only wish it were her own.

Victor wears black because he is the devil. Adam is the devil’s apprentice. Diane wearing black is a fashion choice. She always looks good. As I have stated before, I like Diane.

I’d like to see the men dressed more casually and the women too at least from time to time. No need for suits and suit jackets and dresses all the time.

I don’t believe dressing in black necessarily indicates anything dark or nefarious. I personally prefer dark colors. Black, brown, grey, navy blue, dark greens and occasionally some red. Dark purple is my favorite color followed closely by black. Pink, yellow, orange or pastel colors I seldom wear; then only as accessories. Some people just prefer dark colors. Got a pedicure this morning with my daughter. She suggested a bright color as she normally does but in the end I chose a beautiful dark green.

Black or subdued colors are usually worn in corporate offices, at least in New York.

Well imo, Victor is always called he Black Night, and everyone says Adam is Victor Jr., scratch that, the Ice Queen’s Victor Jr., but anyway Adam is the closest to Victor.
