Curious… didn’t Mike date a girl “April” a long time ago???

I don’t remember him dating her. Pete Jennings dated her as well as Melissa, whom I think he married the same Valentine’s Day as Maggie and Mickey in a double wedding. Mike married a doctor at Salem U. Hospital and moved to Israel, because she was Jewish. I just can’t think of her name - Robin?

I can’t remember much about Mike. I think he must have been on more during some of the time that life was happening and I wasn’t watching. I think I remember him dating Carrie Brady waaaay back. It was a different actor then (unless he’s just really changed a lot with age, like I said, it was a long time ago.)

I vaguely remember him with Carrie but not much more than that. It’s been a long time since he was on.
I’m behind on the show but just saw a clip of him and Nancy staring at each other on Instagram. Do they have a past?

I think Nancy successfully connived with Craig for Craig to replace Mike as hospital chief of staff, back in the day.

Yes, Mike and April Ramirez dated for awhile before she married Nick Corelli.
Nancy and Mike started off as rivals because she was helping Craig get the hospital chief job but during a health scare, they sort of became friends for a bit.

Mike & Carrie were electric together. Much more so than Carrie & Austin ever got close to being. They were in love when the left together. In later years DOOL rewrote history and acted like it was just a lustful affair . It wasn’t. But whatever. I’ll always find that annoying. Loved Mike & Carrie together.

There was a character by the name of April a while back and she used to always clash with Sami. Her brother was played by Billy Huffsy. That’s about all I can remember.

I agree about Mike & Carrie being a good couple. I loved them. But it will be fun to see Mike and Nancy work out the past and get together. She is so positive and happy to see him!

What was up with Mike’s comment about questioning his sexuality in his teenage years? I didn’t watch Days until the Michael T. Weiss years when Mike was already an adult. Was that an actual storyline or just something they pulled from out of the blue? It seemed a little bizarre.

It was the same actor back then. I remember the love triangle between Carrie, Austin and Mike and the drama between Craig, Nancy and Mike over the chief of staff position at the hospital.

I wouldn’t mind them being a couple. I liked Mike and I like this Nancy. I think they could make a great couple. Craig would not be happy about his old enemy dating his former wife. There’s a story there if they take it that way.

My favorite Mike! Loved that guy. Wesley Eure was the first Michael that I remember, back when Susan Flannery played Laura, and he was good, too, but I think more about him playing in that goofy Land of the Lost children’s show. Roark Critchlow was good, too, and still looks so much the same, except for a few added pounds. Looks very nice, though. He and Carrie were a good fit.

I didn’t see him as a teen but that story seems unlikely to have happened given the time it would’ve been in. Guessing that was a very private struggle that we never saw Lol

(and Hourglass) After I posted about Wesley Eure, a guy I hadn’t thought about for years, something kept coming into my head when Hourglass asked about a possible old gay s/l with Mike. I went to search and immediately found an interview where Wesley talks about the One Day gay s/l. One Day. Mike had been unable to have sex with Trish and wondered if he was gay, so he went to talk with Mickey’s paramour, Linda. He told her he was having doubts about his ability to…and she stopped him and said, “Don’t say the word.” Then she held his hand and they went off to the bedroom. LOL! I do vaguely remember that scene. But back then, saying the word “gay” was verboten. Wesley remarked that Days was ahead of the game for that and for interracial relationships, but they were short-lived due to pressure from the dear fans.

Well I’m glad somebody else remembers Mike and April. I sure hope it’s not going to be another gay storyline. I do hope he sticks around for a while.

Mike is Jennifer’s older brother. He grew up thinking his dad was Mickey and his mom, Laura. But later on it was discovered Mickey was infertile and couldn’t be a father. The truth came out that Bill Horton ( Mickey’s brother) was really Mike’s father.
Mike and Carrie were a great couple. I never liked her as much with Austin.

And that is how Mike and Jen. And Lucas are related. Lucas has the same father…Bill Horton.
