Ryan Paevey (Actor)
Ryan Paevey was born in Torrance, California, but raised in Los Angeles, as the only son of Les Vlieger and Linda Paevey. The former soap actor, who later became a Hallmark fan favorite, used to run track and cross country in high school. Though he hadn’t planned on going into the entertainment industry, it was there where he was recruited into acting and modeling.
In 2012, he appeared in Christina Aguilera’s “Your Body” music video and worked with Katy Perry and Cher, plus was used as a body double for Robin Thicke in his “Sex Therapy” video. Paevey’s first daytime role was playing Detective Nathan West on General Hospital, where he worked from December 2013 until his last scene where West was killed off on January 31, 2018, after being shot by his father, Faison.
In addition to working on other films and in primetime, the actor quickly made a name for himself on the Hallmark Channel in numerous romantic movies. Paevey also has a jewelry brand called Fortunate Wanderer, where he creates and sells custom pieces.
