The dress Sami had on on Friday was undoubtedly the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen. Looked like someone had been dumpster diving again.

Lol, I just said on another thread that what keeps her from looking like mrs. Doubtfire is her long, flat and brown hair… The dress was aweful as well. I think beautiful Alison should fire her stylist! It’s as if they want her to look her worst… her “punishment” for leaving Days

She is a beautiful woman but sometimes her clothes are just not suited to her body type, and the hair yesterday was sooo bad. Could be the wardrobe and hair people are jealous of Sami’s beauty and make her look as dumpy as possible.

if there’s any sort of conspiracy to make Sami look and ACT unattractive, it’s more likely that the writers are trying to make even her true fans not so devastated to see her go. Her hair has been a mess since she became a brownette and that flowery dress was not only ugly and inappropriate for her age–but it was too darned TIGHT.

I think the hair change was Alison’s ideal she wanted to try something different. I don’t think any Days actress looks or dresses good all the time. The only one I can think of that always looks good is Lauren Koslow who plays Kate but I think she is married to the makeup and dress artist. Quote fadingrose: Quote Shirleta:

I know it was to tight. If we did the drinking game everytime she pulled it down we would have been drunk. The dresses they pick out for her do not flatter her figure.

What’s so unusual or inappropriate for anyone with an acting career to market herself (or himself) in the media? (I’d hardly call it “whoring.”) Posing for a few ads is a legitimate way to stay in touch with the public, which is important for anyone in show biz. And those new activities probably WILL allow Alison to “spend more time with her family” than a steady commitment to a soap opera. Even if it does not, it’s naïve to believe everything a “celebrity” says for publication!
Sami must have really ticked off the makeup, hair and wardrobe people something fierce! I have never seen her hair and outfits as ugly as they have been lately. She looks old and haggard and just one big fat mess in all aspects. It’s pathetic!

Shes’ not hot she has a lot of moles and is looking a little rough. I think they need to start marketing Nadia Bjorlin she is hot.
Chloe is probably not greedy…plus her
voice will bring her all the income she would ever

Whatever happened to Nadia. I know she did a couple of guest appearances on a couple of shows but I don’t see her in anything anymore. Maybe she will come back to Days now that Alison won’t be hogging the spotlight at least for a little while anyways.
I saw AS on the cover of a magazine on Friday after seeing her in that TIGHT dress. They sure do a lot of airbrushing on those magazines.
I think it is all right to market yourself but doing all the commercials and the game show and the Ellen appearances contradicts her reasons for leaving. I think that is why some fans are posting about it.
This thread was theoretically about Sami’s “Dress on Friday.” But apparently it is being used as an outlet for Sami Haters to vent their general disapproval of ALI–including her beauty, her “greediness” (??) and her lifestyle choices. As for her stated reason for leaving DOOL she may indeed expect to have more time with her family if she is NOT tied to the taping schedule for a daily Soap.
