The new law firm...What should be the name? - The Young and the Restless

Wonder what they will name it? They tossed around “Benedict and Sinclair” and then “Sinclair and Benedict” (each wanting their own last name first on the firm name), but might they COMBINE names, like we do on this sight…it could be: “Benclair” or “Sindict”… nawwww nevermind   Or maybe a slogan like: “Relax, you are in 4 pretty hands”… or “Happy Customers, Happy Lawyers”… lol

I just want to know who their clients are going to be? Poor Michael is never on the show, because no attorney’s are needed.

I’d go with Sinclair, Benedict and Assoc.

Benedict Sinclair, Sister’s In Law. Or At Law? :joy: :upside_down_face:
They can each get their own business cards,
Amanda’s saying Sinclair Benedict and Imani’s the reverse.
Maybe that would make them both happy.

Lila:

Sinclair, Benedict and Assoc.

Hummm… this sounds good too.

When Imani suggested her name be first, she said it as a joke to tease Amanda. You could tell just by the tone of her voice and her facial expression that she was teasing.

I thought it was weird today that Devon was specific when talking to Chance about Amanda, Imani and their new law firm. He even mentioned signing a lease on an office building, etc. So Chance knows Imani from the brief time before he left on his mission?

I had a moment where I thought that maybe Chance could go to work in some capacity for the womens’ new law business. He has to work in a safer environment than police work now.

I’m just glad the Sutton drama is finally over and Amanda is moving on. I’m also glad she and Imani are now on good terms.

I agree. Michael should be on more often. As far as the name for the Law practice goes, Imani is not an attorney yet. So I can’t see putting her name on the shingle with Amanda’s name.

She probably was teasing, but still each probably also WOULD want their own last name first…right? I think since Amanda has been longer established as a known lawyer, her last name should precede her sister’s last name, if they go that route…

It was Amanda’s idea to open up a business with her sister as a partner. So in my opinion it’s obvious that Amanda’s name would be first.

Where did she get the last name of Sinclair anyway? She was given to an orphanage as a baby. Was it made up? Maybe she’ll end up changing her last name to the same as whatever Imani’s last name is.

Absolutely!
Benedict Sinclair just sounds better than Sinclair Benedict. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

You agreed that Amanda’s name should be first but you reversed it.

Amanda’s last name is Sinclair.

I know.
I did that because I think Benedict Sinclair sounds better than Sinclair Benedict (to my ear).

Amanda should definitely get top billing though.

Yeah, Michael’s been on the show 25-30 years and the guy has never had an office, but Amanda and Imani get one?

I agree. Amanda is more experienced and floated bringing her sister into her firm. She should go first. Baby sister can take second seat. It’s only fair.

Poor Michael was always summoned by King Victor to come to the ranch to do his bidding, so no office ever shown.

How about “The BS Law Firm of Genoa City”. Or just “BS Law”.
Commercial: “If you get arrested in Genoa City, call BS Law, we’ll get you off.”
That has a nice ring to it.

Michael did have a law office and there were even scenes at it. He had one with Christine at one point in time too.

Ok these will be stupid slogans for their practice, “You Fall We Sue”, “Ambulance Chaser R Us”, “Do a crime, sell a dime, we will fight so you don’t serve time!”
