This cheesy TV show is now going to be a movie, and some of the original cast are even returning!

• Dwayne Johnson

  

  Dwayne Johnson is stepping into the role of Mitch Bucannon, formerly played by David Hasselhoff. 

• Kelly Rohrbach

  

  Actress and model Kelly Rohrbach will step into the role C. J. Parker, formerly played by Pamela Anderson.

• Alexandra Daddario

  

  Daddario will play the role of Summer Quinn, originally played by Nicole Eggert.

• Ilfenesh Hadera

  

  Stephanie Holden will now be played by Chi-Raq actress Ilfenesh Hadera, taking over from Alexandra Paul.

• Zac Efron

  

  Efron will play the role of Matt Brody, once played by his doppelganger, David Charvet. 

• Rob Huebel

  

  Rob Huebel will play Captain Don Thorpe, who was played by Monte Thorpe on the TV show.

• Priyanka Chopra

  

  Though she’s not reprising a role from the TV show, Quantico‘s Chropra is set to play the film’s villain.

• Hannibal Buress

  

  Funny-guy Hannibal Buress is set to play one of the local beachgoers, no doubt causing trouble for the lifeguards. 

• Jon Bass

  

  Bass is set to play Ronnie, an awkward disco dancer and love interest for Rohrbach’s C. J. Parker.

• Haviland Stillwell

  

  The Magic Mike XXL actress will play Allegre, possibly a love interest for David Hasselhoff’s character. 

• Charlotte McKinney

  

  The model will play one of the locals in the bay community where the lifeguards work.

• Yahya Abjul-Mateen II

  

  Abjul-Mateen is set to play a cop that will butt heads with Mitch Buchannon (Johnson). 

• Sexier swimsuits

  

  Filmmakers decided to keep the iconic, one-piece ladies’ suits, but gave them fun details to make them look modern.
