VICTOR'S Actions - The Young and the Restless

What, WHY n WHO do U think Victor will fire?

His actions R not going well with many …Victor is playing them all.

He is testing everyone Except Niki. He wants to make sure who will take over the reins when he is gone. Who can he trust??

Definitely, not Victoria n I think he will be truely hurt n disappointed what she is doing when he finds out!!

She will try to get him out of the Ceo position. NATE, he says he is thinking he can trust him, yet time will tell.
Adam~ Victor wants to believe in him -really hard to do at this point…yet Adam could full us all .
Nick, says he doesn’t want to be a part of Newman Enterprise…so. FANS
UR thoughts.

I’m enjoying victor playing cat and mouse with them. Hey, at least no one’s locked in a basement eating rats. Lol :joy:

I think Victor is absolutely right to put the ungrateful people to whatever test he sees fit. He built his empire from the ground up as his legacy. That spoiled brat of a daughter needs the test x10 IMO. That includes that family back stabbing shifty eyed smooth talker she’s knocking boots with. If Adam could just stop and jump off the pity me I’m so abused , no body likes me train ,he could do the job but right now nobody is fit to do it but the man himself. Nicks head and heart isn’t in it and Nick knows it.

I think its disgusting for Victor to fake dementia. It’s a serious disease.

Yes it is serious disease and affects so many people…
I am appalled that Y&R is going in that direction

It just makes me despise Victor more than I did before.

Victor is more and more cruel, I think that his children in particular Adam will feel betrayed by learning of the false dementia, he has already made Adam believe that he was dead to punish him and chase him out of town and the rest Newmans have don too.

But he shouldn’t pretend to have dementia which is a serious illness, it’s terrible and deplorable to put his own children through this even if he thinks they deserve it, and above all it’s cruel but This is just my opinion, but maybe I wrong.

Yes it is however this is a soap full of devious lying full of themself greedy people. Both my grandparents suffered and died from the disease and my very best friend that I’ve known since I was 8 years old mother that’s 93 has it .Its heart breaking to deal with and watch loved ones who have it. No it is not anything to fake. But the character of Victoria started this path. She’s the one that put the idea of it out there. Victor was going to test her loyalty anyway you look at it so what would have been a better disease should he have used to prove he’s not capable ? All disease is horrible to fake no matter what. Ashland faked cancer. I mean Cancer . That disease kills hundreds of people every day . Yet people want him back. Idk what the answer is here to please everyone or not to offend anyone anymore. I don’t think it exists. Sorry if I offended anyone.

whats he going to say when they take him in to be assessed. oops sorry I just fooling all of you. he’s despicable and so is nikki if she knows. you don’t do that to your kids.

I wonder if Nikki knows and supports Victor in this lie. It reminds me of the time that Victor faked his death and didn’t even tell his family, at least not right away.

yeah and why is it that he can do this and he thinks it is ok yet anyone else does and he is full of anger because they do.

I’m afraid Nikki will tell Nick and Victoria the truth and leave Adam in the dark.

No I don’t think so as much as Nikki would defend her children Victor did tell her Friday…he is testing them and he said he felt Nate was trustworthy and Nikki said she wasn’t so sure.
So Nikki will keep quiet to test Nate, while Victor will test Nick, Victoria and Adam

I have no idea what his endgame is here. He said he came back because there was a lack of cohesive leadership (or something like that). Is he trying to make the disloyal show their true colours or is he doing this to actually unite his children in a purpose…dealing with their ailing father? Maybe both? Maybe neither?

He told Nikki it was because someone was plotting against him.

Well this is the way he chose. In my world …no I couldn’t do it to my kids but then again my kids wouldn’t sue me either and his did. I don’t think there is a right answer though. Your not wrong. To each his own. He had to do something to find out who’s loyal and who’s not. Victoria was going to carry on either way with her
“ dad just don’t has what it takes anymore to run NE.” She’s even gone to Nick ,who she kicked to the curb so she could slide Nate into Nicks position. Now she needs him with her at the company. She’s terrible.

I think I’m glad I’m out of the country and can’t watch this. I peeked at this thread and can’t believe they think doing a fake dementia s/l is appropriate in soap land or anywhere :rage:. This is even lower than Phyllis fake death and the pain she caused.

I agree with everything you wrote. I just wish the writers wouldn’t use dementia Victor’s strategy. It’s nothing to scoff at. Reminds me of when Sally Spectra in her B&B days pretended to have terminal cancer. It was a hideous storyline and this is going in that direction.
