When and How Will Abe Get His Memory Back?
Outside the Pub, Eric runs into Nicole, who is on her way to see Abe. Eric assumes she didn’t get a chance to see him when she was at the hospital earlier. Nicole shares that she received the test results, and there is no risk to the baby. However, she can’t understand how Sloan got her hands on her results first. Eric is surprised to learn that tidbit, but is happy for Nicole. He hopes he and Sloan get the same good news. Nicole finds it odd Sloan didn’t get her results, considering that’s how she supposedly received Nicole’s. Eric shrugs. It must have been part of the mix-up. Nicole half-heartedly agrees and leaves.
Outside City Hall, Melinda tries to console Sloan over her brother getting 20 years in prison. Melinda would offer to take her for a drink, but she has a date — with Li Shin. Sloan’s mouth drops. When they move on to discussing Sloan’s baby, she shifts uncomfortably. After swearing Melinda to secrecy, Sloan starts to say something about Nicole, but is interrupted by a call from Eric. He wants to meet at her place to talk. Sloan abruptly leaves Melinda hanging with no details about Nicole.
