Why Does Li Hate Poppy on Bold & Beautiful?
Soap operas are filled with secrets but it’s no secret that Poppy does not get along with her older sister Li on The Bold and the Beautiful. In fact, since the day Li found out she was in town, viewers have been privy to their back and forth rants — many of them — over her younger sis suddenly turning up and remaining in Los Angeles. Well, we may have our answer as to why Li really has an issue with Poppy…
Romy Park posted a video of Li chastising Poppy, who pointed out that Bill was into her. “He’s Kelly’s grandfather!” Li snapped back, to which Poppy replied, with a devilish smirk, “Oh, I see, think I’m too young to be dating a grandfather?” Li then made it clear that Bill was not only off limits but that he was way out of her league.
Well, if there’s one thing we know about Poppy, she doesn’t take orders from her sister and Park offered up a comical take on the situation between her and Naomi Matsuda’s characters. “Happiness is annoying your older sister by being taller than her,” she shared the quote by an unknown author then added in her own words, “The real reason Li hates Poppy.”
The soap’s official page jumped into the comments to applaud Park as fans weighed in with their opinions, including Ella Bleu who stated, “Poppy you’re my favorite! I believe Li is jealous because you’re a free spirit and very beautiful. Your character is so refreshing!” to which Park replied, “Thank you!” And though B. Mordecai complimented them for playing adversaries so well, a suggestion was made that could turn out to be fun too. “Hopefully, fingers crossed, one day, these two sisters will patch things up and team up.”

With Poppy’s flare for sass and Li’s straight up no-holds-barred demeanor, they could really cause some drama — and hold their own as a team at the same time!
