Bold & Beautiful’s Steffy is about to be very happy thanks to her brother taking her advice and leaving Hope, but what she won’t realize is that she may have just set in motion a chain of events that will lead to the end of her own relationship!

Upon hearing that Hope had turned down Thomas’ marriage proposal for the second time, Steffy launched into full protective sister mode and began attacking the person who had hurt her big bro. Adding fuel to the fire was Hope and Steffy’s historic rivalry and the ingrained love/hate battle the Forresters have with the Logans dating back a generation.

Indeed, Steffy accused Hope of going “Full Logan” and behaving exactly like her mother Brooke during one of their run-ins. Thinking that Hope was just using her brother as a boy toy and playing fast and loose with his feelings, Stephanie Forrester’s namesake took to meddling in the relationship, just as her grandmother before her.

Steffy had two conversations with Thomas, and in both she stressed that Hope would never love him in return the same way that he loves her. While Thomas was reluctant to see it this way, his sister doubled-down on a subsequent visit to his home, where she urged the reformed father to consider what all this might do to his son Douglas. We have to wonder, however, if she considered what it might do to the boy to be ripped away from everything he knows, when she implored Thomas to cut his girlfriend loose, take his son, and leave the continent entirely!

Thomas, in a vulnerable state over the disappointment of Hope telling him she cannot be his wife, proved to be pliable and decided to make the move, informing a disbelieving Hope that he and Douglas would be relocating to Paris, effective immediately.

According to Bold & Beautiful teasers, this news will leave Steffy reveling in her “glorious victory”, but her happy dance may soon be stopped in its tracks if this means what we think it means.

As viewers are well aware, Hope has turned to Steffy’s husband in the past for comfort, and more recently, the bereaved doctor cried in the Logan’s arms after the death of his “birth mother” Sheila at Steffy’s hand.

Steffy, one has to assume, is either unaware or unconcerned about the bond Finn and Hope have formed, and is in no way thinking that a suddenly-single Hope could pose a threat to her own marriage.

Bold & Beautiful has back-burnered the story about Sheila’s shocking death and its fallout, but we’re certain that once Thomas is out of sight and out of mind, the soap will pivot back — which brings the possibility of more Finn and Hope bonding.

With her cunning plan to send Thomas out of Hope’s orbit overseas, Steffy may have inadvertently opened the door to “Fope” growing closer as they commisserate about their respective miseries. If things progress, our bold brunette may begin to realize that she unknowingly wrote the beginning of the end of her own love story with her meddling. We can just see her now, on the phone imploring Thomas to come back, and her brother telling her no, she was right about everything. What a Bold & Beautiful backfire that would be!
