I would think Adam wouldn’t have any fight in him after this, but the article just posted on this site said it will give him laser focus on Newman Media.

I feel bad for Adam, he can never catch a break, but Dark Adam is a lot more fun/interesting for sure.

I figure Adam will attack Newman Media, because that’s one of his go-to behaviors (the other is Las Vegas Spider amnesia) when hurt or emotionally wounded.

It would never occur to Adam to stay through Sally’s anger, loss and grief, and maybe help each other be stronger people that don’t fall apart when bad things happen.

I think after all he’s been through it’s no surprise that he’s turning dark again, for years he’s been walked on he’s nice to everyone and he’s constantly being rejected and Sally prefers his brother and now his daughter just died and Sally is going to blame him, no wonder he snaps.

Me too and then he will have nothing to lose he lost the woman he loves and his daughter and Chelsea and Connor will probably leave Genoa City for a while I feel like his dark side has always wanted to wake up but he push her away, this time he will have no reason to push him away.

Adam has given as good as he got when it comes to bad behavior Adam versus The World. Multiple attempted murders of Victor and family is not redeeming behavior if you fail; it makes you look incompetent. If Adam is not trusted and suspected of malfeasance, it’s because he is not to be trusted and has a jealous, malicious streak he likes to indulge when thwarted.

Sally doesn’t entirely trust Adam because of how he treated her to take after (and changed his mind) Victor for selling Newman Media to Victoria. Nick is a soft place for Sally to fall, but neither of them are in love with the other. Nick is mostly territorial.

The choice between Sally’s life and their baby was a no-win situation for Adam. Who do you propose is at fault there?

Sally is one keening body of hormonal overload, guilt and grief. She’s off her pins and it’s expected she will blame Adam.

For once in Adam’s life, he needs to turn his face into the storm and accept the overwhelming agony and grief and not run and bury himself in revenge. Ignore Nick’s jealous, ignorant, irrational rath and Victor’s cruel relief. Accept and support Sally’s desperate anguish by loving her unconditionally and mourning the death of their child together.

And prove that Adam is the changed man he swore to Sally he had become by demonstrating it during the worst possible time in their lives.

I want Adam to kick butt and take names! First on the block, Victoria! Sally wants good ol Nick! She wants to blame Adam, so he will get out of her life. He is Victor Newman’s son! I want to see him just as cutthroat as ol Vic is.

Gosh I hope we don’t end up with him moping for weeks and Victoria using that to take Adam down. I have had enough of Victoria and certainly of her smug victories. Let Adam win and keep winning. Knock Victoria down the ladder with her smugness. Let her feel what she always lets Adam feel.

I agree with what you are saying, except that I don’t object to Adam wanting to take back Newman Media. That company, along with Sally, represents the time in his life when Adam was happy. Yes, he blew it up himself, but at the same time Victor should never have sold Newman Media to Newman Enterprises and put Adam in the position of having to report to Victoria. Victoria had sold the original media division at Newman to ChancComm and then suddenly she wants all the media companies in town. I don’t want to see Victoria lose everything as many people do, but I would like to see Adam get Newman Media back.

Accept and support Sally and love her unconditionally? Isn’t that what he’s been doing? She and Nick made it their mission to make the guy move on. They rubbed his nose in their relationship every chance they got. Now he’s supposed to stick around for more of the same? Besides the goodbye sex Sally has given him no indication that she wants more to do with him. Their baby is gone, they don’t need to be each other’s support with Nick in the middle.
Adam’s goal was taking NM back before the loss of his daughter, it doesn’t have to be him backsliding just focused on business.

I’m not worried about the outcome for Victoria; Victor is backing her. It’s Nate who will be in over his head; Audra will love picking up the slack and taking public credit for the save.

The fact that Adam is back working for Victor Newman-owned company (regardless of what Victor promises/guarantees/codifies that Adam with be independent) should have been a Red Flag on the field. Victor betrayed him before by agreeing to sell Newman Media. Victor knew Adam would never work under Victoria, so whatever reason he had for the sale ended in failure for many people and a multitude of unintended consequences. And there’s nothing to stop Victor from taking away Adam’s new plaything when he attacks Newman Enterprises.

Victor is not going to allow Adam to poach Newman Enterprises divisions to benefit McCall or satiate Adam’s business nostalgia to run Newman Media again – That’s not how Victor has ever done business and very unlikely to start with Victoria.

Victor owns both Newman and McCall so it will be possible that if Adam is successful, Victor will see it as a good business move. But in any case, Adam is going to ignore any directive from Victor, just as he did when he was running Newman Media before it was sold, and Victor knows that Adam will walk away if he takes away his “plaything”. And that’s the last thing Victor wants.

Adam is my favorite, but I know that he hasn’t evolved that much.

Adam deserves a win. He is a self made man who put himself through Harvard. Victoria ran around Europe and studies art. I’m sick of seeing her portrayed as mini Victor. I would love to see Adam and Sally crush Victoria and Nate.
